Yes, but what you can do, is go to msconfig and uncheck the programs you don’t want in the tray, and then hide the notice of block programs through the method described above. That removes and hides the notice that they’ve been removed.

No there isn’t. I guess it’s hide. You wouldn’t want to delete something from there because you never know when you’re going to need it

the tutorial just hide the icons. but the title says “remove”. so, is there anyway to “REMOVE” icons on System Tray?

Very nice. I could not see how to do this when the application is not very well behaved i.e. when it won’t let you naturally remove it by right-clicking. Until you pointed out this method!

How do you remove the Yahoo search bar from the tray? it doesn’t appear to be listed, and I really hate having it there taking up space in my tray al the time.
