My audio went out all of a sudden, I turned my HP Pavilon laptop on one fine morning to listen to some jams and to my horror there was just no audio, as if it never existed, I tried to follow ALL the advice I got on the web but to no avail because there is no sound/video option in my device manager, and in the control panel there is only a sound option but when I click on it it just says NO AUDIO DEVICE IS INSTALLED....same thing when I click on the red X......... all of a sudden I'm fustrated and life no longer has meaning...... I need the sound in the form of music in order to work out in my room, and I want my laptop to be fully functional when I watch videos and stuff..... anyways, it's darn annoying not to the sound working....... I was thinking of doing a complete recovery but then I'd lose all my programs and stuff and there's no guarantee that would work either..... can someone please go out on a limb and extend their kindness to yet another anguished lad who's saddened by the loss of a function that cause great joy by means of hearing with out ears?
