How to hide annoying security notifications
When Windows suspects that your PC is “not safe enough”, it will continuously haunt you with this prompt until you fix your computer’s security problems. It takes a few steps to get rid of the prompt, but it’s better than having this thing pop-up again and again.
1) You can either click on this prompt or double-click the Security icon
in your system tray. Doing so will take you to the Security Center.
2) Look on the left, and choose the last option in the Navigation Menu - “Change the way Security Center alerts me.”

3) You will be prompted for your decision on whether to be notified of security issues. Pick the one that’s most appropriate for you. I’m not sure why the first option is boxed. It’s probably because Vista recommends it.

And never again will you be haunted by security notifications.
