Change the volume of each individual application from your system tray

This is another one of those obvious Vista features that are extremely useful. You can control the volume of each application individually right from your system tray. I discovered this feature during my first week of using Vista but according to Digg, it seems that a lot of people have yet to discover this useful feature.

All you have to do is click the volume icon in your system tray, and then click on Mixer at the bottom.

Here’s a direct link to the screenshot that was posted on Digg.

Is there any way to access the volume mixer other than the system tray? I can’t find it anywhere.
