I dont have wxwidgets and what do you mean by open and
right click, i have no option that says “set wallpaper”

I have done everything that is listed but I can’t click on “DirectX Wallpaper”. It’s shaded. Can someone tell me why?

Attention!

If you have VLC 0.9, the layout of the Preferences menu is DIFFERENT! Someone try to talk to the author about a new tutorial, but here’s the changes:

-”Preferences” is now under “Tools”

-”wxWidgets” no longer exists. The checkboxes in question are now under “Qt”: You can find “Systray icon” here. Also under “Skins”: You can find “Taskbar” and “Systray icon” here.

-Playlist is in the same place: You must have “Repeat current item” checked.

I dont see wxWidgets like you show in step 4 everything else is
there? I can loop it like you said it works for like the life of one or 2 loops then black screen everything i am running is above standard and up to date and of course it is in my task bar i am running windows vista home

I have Vista Ultimate, and I cannot get the “DirectX Wallpaper” function to work.

40GB HDD (Ubuntu screwed up Windows making it think it only has 200MB free on one partiton, while another has 22GB)

1GB RAM

Intel 82845G (*XP Driver*) with 64MB Video RAM

Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz
